Unifying Civil Society for Migrant Support Across Europe: CISOMOI Movement Update

On November 1, we held an inspiring gathering in Munich, uniting over 30 stakeholders for our CISOMOI project—a civil society movement dedicated to enhancing support for migrant communities across partner countries including Greece, Romania, Denmark, Sweden, Bulgaria, and Germany. This meeting marked a significant step in fortifying cross-border collaboration and exploring impactful social interventions.

In an open, solution-driven dialogue, stakeholders from diverse backgrounds discussed critical topics such as:

🤝 Strengthening Community Support: Identifying ways to foster inclusive and supportive local communities for migrants.

🛠 Developing Targeted Social Interventions: Brainstorming innovative approaches to address challenges faced by migrants, from housing and healthcare to education and employment.

🏛 Role of Local Authorities: Examining local authorities' essential role in supporting effective policies while seeking commitments to actively engage in collaborative efforts.

Our mission is clear: to build resilient, compassionate communities where migrants can thrive, contribute, and be welcomed. Through CISOMOI, we’re establishing a united front, empowering local organizations, and ensuring that civil society plays a vital role in shaping inclusive policies across Europe.
Thank you to all our partners and participants dedicated to this journey. Together, we’re laying the groundwork for long-lasting impact. 🌍
